Ethical approval was received from the South West—Frenchay Research Ethics Committee (REC: 09/H0107/72) for lumbar puncture (LP) collection of CSF from patients with suspected CNS inflammation from neurology clinics based at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, with written consent.
