: Semmes–Weinstein monofilaments are recommended for testing sensory perception in the digits of workers by the HSE in Guidance on Hand-arm Vibration (L140). Quantitative sensory tests of thermal and vibration perception are undertaken at HSE’s Science and Research Centre in Buxton for which a fee is charged.
