Declarations
:
: The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest.
: For sensitivity testing, ethical approval was not required, because all patient samples used were residual samples. Samples were identified in the laboratory and assigned a number without reference to patient or clinical details. The data of the specificity testing were obtained from anonymized results of a previous study in which assays from residual material were used for this purpose. Therefore, the results from anonymized testing did not impact on clinical care and did not require an ethics statement.
