The Ethics Committee of the Hospital District of Southwest Finland approved “The FinnBrain Birth Cohort Study” on 14.6.2011 with the protocol number: ETMK: 57/180/2011. This research entitled: “The Quality of Day Care and the Risk of the Social Exclusion in Early Childhood” was approved by The Ethics Committee of the Hospital District of Southwest Finland on 26.11.2013 with the protocol number: ETMK: 137/1801/2013. All the study participants gave their written informed consent, and parents gave consent on behalf of their child.
