: All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. More specifically, the two studies are non-medical and comply with the American Psychological Association’s ethical standards in the treatment of participants and were approved by the Review Board of the authors’ Department.
: Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in the study. In study 1, data was collected from children aged 8–12 and one of their parents. Informed consent was obtained from the participating parent and the child. In study 2, data was collected from adolescents aged 15–17 and emerging adults aged 18–21. Informed consent was obtained from the participants and from their parents if the participants were younger than 18 years.
