: The Parenting and Family Support Centre is partly funded by royalties stemming from published resources of the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program, which is developed and owned by The University of Queensland (UQ). Royalties are also distributed to the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences at UQ and contributory authors of published Triple P resources. Triple P International (TPI) Pty Ltd is a private company licensed by UniQuest Pty Ltd on behalf of UQ, to publish and disseminate Triple P worldwide. The authors of this report have no share or ownership of TPI. At the time of publishing, Author Chainey is currently employed and Author Burke was previously employed by The University of Queensland in the Parenting and Family Support Centre.
: This research study was conducted retrospectively from data obtained for the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children. We consulted extensively with the ethics committee of The University of Queensland, who granted an official waiver of ethical approval as the study uses non-identifiable secondary data and is of negligible risk (Clearance number 2017001553). All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.
: Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in the study, by the administrators of the National Health Survey 2014–15.
