: Author JJ is an employee at Sustainable Interaction, a private company working with responsible gambling and online training with the gambling industry. He has been working as a consultant for this project at the Norwegian gambling operator Norsk Tipping. Author IM has worked as a consultant for Sustainable Interaction. Neither of the other authors has ever had any financial ties to Norsk Tipping or Sustainable Interaction. Author PC has received multiple research grants from the industry (Svenska spel and Paf), all specifically devoted to only cover the university costs of employing two Ph.D.-students and one postdoc. : All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.
