: The study procedures were carried out under the Declaration of Helsinki. In Poland, each university establishes its own requirements concerning obtaining ethics committee consent for research participation. At the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, psychological surveys are directed to such committees only in special cases, depending on the decision of the person in charge of the research project section. In the case of voluntary online surveys regarding issues widespread in the population, such necessity was not reported. To comply with ethical standards, the research was conducted according to the standards of good research practice recommended by the American Psychological Association (APA). The participants were informed about the confidentiality and anonymity of the research, and that they had a right to resign from participation.
