All participants provided informed consent prior to taking part in this study. They were aware of taking part in research and informed about the possibility of quitting the experiment with no repercussions out disadvantage at any time. All participants allowed us to use their data for publications. All data were collected and analyzed anonymously. The study was part of a larger project about the effects of drawing on self-regulated learning that received ethical approval by the Internal Review Board of the Leibniz-Institut fuer Wissensmedien.
