: Ethics approval to conduct this study was obtained by both the Griffith University Research Ethics Committee (GUREC) and the Police Organisation’s Human Research Ethics Committee on 11 June 2019.
: The participants were recruited during the months of August and September 2019, and were invited by email to participate in an online, Qualtrics-based survey via Qualtrics online software (2014). An Explanatory Statement was provided and formed part of the agreement with participants in order to inform them of conditions of their participation. Participants were advised they could withdraw from the study at any stage without repercussion.
: Consent for publication was provided by the police organisation on the condition that confidentiality and anonymity of the origins of the sample used in this study were maintained.
