Conflicts of interest
: The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.
: The Research Ethics Committee of the University Medical Center Utrecht waived formal ethics approval of this study (17-445). Patients or proxies indicated on the Ultra-early Tranexamic Acid After Subarachnoid Hemorrhage consent form whether they gave permission for the patient to be approached for participation in future research. Surveys were sent to patients for whom such permission was provided. If a patient or proxy did not want to participate in the survey study, he/she was asked to return an empty survey.
