: Ethical approval for this study was obtained from the Afghanistan Center for Epidemiological Studies (ACES) Ethical Committee (Reference Number #21.007; July 4, 2021). A description of the study was presented to the participants during the initial contact. All of the included participants of this study gave verbal consent of participation to be included in this study (particularly given that a sizeable minority of the participants were illiterate). Participants has been informed that they could stop with answering the questions at any point during the survey. All methods used in this study, were carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki ethical principles.
