: Ethical approval was granted by the funding body (GMHSCP) and Manchester Institute of Education at the University of Manchester. All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards for evaluative case studies of The University of Manchester, Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership, and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. This article does not contain any studies with animals performed by any of the authors. This anonymous, non-sensitive topic survey was distributed to professionals working within Crisis Mental Health Services for young people in Greater Manchester. Participant information, including the purpose of the research and how data collected from this research would be used was clearly outlined in the distribution email and stated at the start of the survey. Participants were made aware that participation was on a voluntary basis, therefore, as adult professionals the completion of the survey is clear consent, as otherwise they would not have completed the research.
