: This study did not require ethical review due to that the analysis of datasets that were obtained from our own prior research (Hungarian-Austrian dataset) and this dataset was properly anonymized and informed consent was obtained at the time of the ethically approved original data collection. Hungarian and/or Austrian authorities did not have jurisdiction to approve the HAPO study [] and therefore no ethical approval was required to access the dbGaP database (HAPO-EUR dataset) after NIH had approved our request [#131484-1] and granted access.
