: The data used in our study is freely available to the general public and does not use any personally identifiable information (anonymous), and consequently does not represent an ethical risk for participants. The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics, a Peruvian government organization, is responsible for the annual collection of ENDES data. This institution requested the consent of participants to obtain the information required in the survey. For each person of legal age (18 years old and above), informed consent for the collection of information was taken. In the case of minors (17 years old and below) the request for consent was read to one of their parents or the adult responsible for the minor to allow assessment.
