: This was an institutional review board (IRB)-approved study involving paired prospective surveys for which parents and cardiologist underwent an informed consent process prior to participation. Institutional Review Board of the University of Michigan Medical School (IRBMED) oversees human subjects research conducted at the Medical School and Michigan Medicine. IRBMED is charged with protecting the rights and welfare of participants in clinical trials and other human subjects research studies and is responsible for monitoring compliance with federal and state laws, university policies and ethical principles. All methods were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations.
