Samples of patients in Ulm had been collected after written informed consent in accordance with the institution’s ethical review board (Ethics Commission, Ulm University, #461/19). Samples of the patients enrolled in the AIEOP-BFM ALL 2000, 2009 and 2017 studies were collected after written informed consent was obtained from parents or legal guardians. The AIEOP-BFM ALL studies were approved by the ethical committees of all participating institutions.
