Healthy donors mobilized peripheral blood CD34+ cells were obtained with written informed consent and approval of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center with the approval number #985.03. Cord blood units from healthy newborns were obtained from the Blood Tissue Bank following the institutional guidelines approved by the local IRB with the approval number 206-173-1. All patients or their guardians signed informed consents for sample collection in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
