All participants in CoMMpass (NCT01454297) provided informed consent for that study. Only de-identified patient-level data was accessed for these analyses and, therefore, were determined to be exempt. NDMM patient bone marrow aspirates were obtained from the participants following informed consent and registration on our internal Multiple Myeloma Tissue Banking Protocol (protocol number 201102270). All animal experiment protocols in this study were reviewed and approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of WashU (Protocol 24-0155).
