: This study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of Jeju National University Hospital (Approval Number No. 2023-10-016) and conducted following the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and STROBE reporting guidelines. The requirement for written informed consent was waived owing to the nature of the study involving the use of de-identified, registered data. With participation from 79 neonatal intensive care units across Korea, informed consent had initially been obtained from the parents of each infant for the participation and the publication of the data before their inclusion in the Korean Neonatal Network (KNN) registry.
