Competing interests: CognitiveCare, Inc. has a patent for the utilization of AI/ML-driven platforms to predict pregnancies at risk of adverse events (USPTO No. US 11,854,706 B2), where ROP is one of 48 distinct adverse events incorporated in the model. The authors who have no affiliation with CognitiveCare, Inc. declare that the research was conducted in the absence of any commercial or financial relationships that could be construed as a potential conflict of interest.
Consent for publication: This study followed the ethical guidelines set by the IRB at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute in Bhubaneswar, India (IRB No. 2024-202-BHR-8). To protect patient privacy, all clinical data were de-identified before any analysis was done. Because the study was retrospective and used anonymized records, the IRB waived the need for individual informed consent, in line with institutional policy.
