Ethics approval and consent to participate
: All methods were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations. The study was approved as ‘non-WMO research’ by the medical research ethics committees united (MEC-U, W25.209) in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands, and by the local hospital committee of the Catharina hospital in Eindhoven, the Netherlands (nWMO-2025.175).
: Patients were included as part of routine diagnostics. Patient data was anonymized and no patient records were consulted. Data was analysed retrospectively as part of groups and not for individual patients. Therefore, it was agreed with the local hospital committee that patient informed consent was not needed.
