: The research protocols were approved by the local ethics review committees of all participating sites, and all participants provided written informed consent before the DIRECT Phase II data sharing. The analysis proposal and the coordinated dataset used in the current study have been reviewed and approved by DIRECT consortium in its data-sharing Stage 1. At this stage, the consortium ensures that proposals have no conflicts before approval, after which this proposal enters the pool of approved proposals to prevent future conflict. The DIRECT Phase II data-sharing Stage 2 will involve unrestricted sharing after January 1st, 2026.
