In line with the French legislation on retrospective studies of de-identified data recorded during routine clinical practice, the study did not require approval by an institutional review board but was registered with the French National Data Protection Commission (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, Paris, France). All study procedures were in accordance with the ethical standards of the Helsinki Declaration. This is an anonymised database study. When a patient is first admitted to hospital, signing the medical questionnaire means that the data can be used for research purposes.
