: The EBMT is a voluntary working group of more than 600 transplant centers that are required to report all consecutive HCTs and follow-ups once a year. Audits are routinely performed to determine the accuracy of the data. Since January 2003, all transplant centers have been required to obtain written informed consent before data registration with the EBMT, following the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki, 1975.
