The Brittle Bone Society website informed participants that the survey would be used for research to investigate current issues and care experiences in relation to dental concerns of those living with OI and to improve services within the UK and Ireland. This was also highlighted to participants at the beginning of the questionnaire; therefore, completion of the voluntary survey implied consent. The questionnaire did not collect any identifiable information from participants and was analysed retrospectively.
