Ethics approval and consent to participate

: Buffy coats of healthy donors were acquired through the Belgian Red Cross for which each donor must sign a written consent before donation. The protocol was approved by the ethical committee of the University of Antwerp (reference number: 14/47/480) in accordance with the latest version of the WMA Declaration of Helsinki.
