: All experiments and animal procedures were revised and approved by our Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) (ref. IACUC.002-2019), by the Ethics Committee for Research and Animal Welfare (CEIyBA) (ref. CBA 06_2019-v3) and by the General Directorate of Agriculture, Livestock and Food from the Community of Madrid (ref. PROEX 139/49). Animals were bred and maintained under specific pathogen-free (SPF) conditions in laminar flow caging at the CNIO animal facility in accordance with the recommendations of the Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations (FELASA). Patient data downloaded from the publicly available cBioPortal, Kaplan–Meier Plotter and TIMER 2.0 databases did not require ethical approval.
