: This study was approved by the Committee of Animal Care of the Shanghai 9th People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine (Approval number: SH9H-2022-A16-1). All animal experiments were performed in accordance with the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology’s Statement for Use of Animals. The protocol for human serum and eyeball collection were approved by the institutional review board of Ninth People’s hospital affiliated with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (Approval number: SH9H-2021-T184-2; SH9H-2021-T277-2) and informed consent was obtained from all subjects.
