: In this study, all methods were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations. All mice in this study were fed and maintained in accordance with the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology Statement on the Use of Animals in Ophthalmic and Vision Research, and this study was approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of the General Hospital of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (SQ2020168). To minimize the number of animals used, we employed the minimum sample size required to achieve statistical power, thereby adhering to the principles of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement) in animal research. In this study, blinding was not implemented.
