: This study involving human samples was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by RESEARCH COMMITTEE - PANEL ON RESEARCH ETHICS, Sub-Panel on Biomedical Science & Engineering Research Ethics (Human Participants, No: BSERE20-APP006-FHS). The breast cancer sample collection was approved by the EIC for Clinical Research and Animal Trials of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (No: [2020]170). The colon cancer sample collection was approved by the Medical Ethics committee of Nan Fang Hospital of Southern Medical University (No: NFEC-2021-447). Informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to their inclusion in the study. The case study for breast cancer patient was approved by the Ethics Committee of Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center (No: SL-G2021-061-02).
