: The interviews with health professionals were classified as a Service Evaluation by the Health Research Authority (HRA), thus research ethics committee approval was not required. The service evaluation was registered with Research and Development at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. Approval to conduct parent interviews was given by the HRA and the East of Scotland Research Ethics Service REC 1 (21/ES/0073). A sub-set of interviews was conducted by RM as part of her PhD project, with approval from the London Bromley Research Ethics Committee (20/LO/0987). The studies were conducted in accordance with the local legislation and institutional requirements, and all participants provided their informed consent to participate.
