: H.K., D.L. and F.P. are inventors of a patent to install stations on the seafloor using a deep-sea cable<sup>49</sup>. This method is not necessarily required for the installation of the stations which can also be done conventionally with a remotely operated vehicle or using a free-fall procedure.
