: Authors declare the following competing interests. All authors were part of the 2023-25 Working Group on Youth Engagement for AMR which was initiated in 2023 by the Quadripartite Joint Secretariat on AMR. Their participation in the working group is voluntary and they dido not receive any payment for their role save for travel expenses for a single annual general meeting. In this respect all authors had international air and per diam expenses covered for the following annual general meetings: World Health Organization Head Quarters, Geneva Switzerland, September 2023 and United Nations Environmental Programme Head Quarters, Nairobi, Kenya, September 2024. SFK was affiliated with the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) and acted as IFMSA’s representative to the Quadripartite Working Group on Youth Engagement for AMR from October 2023-September 2024. He was then employed by ReAct Asia Pacific as the Youth Engagement Consultant from October 2024.
