: This research was conducted by local researchers. Roles and responsibilities were jointly defined at the outset and reviewed throughout the project, through mutual agreements to ensure equitable participation, transparency and shared ownership of intellectual property. The research questions were developed in consultation with local partners and organizations to ensure relevance to the communities involved. Ongoing dialogue with stakeholders helped refine study priorities and adapt methodologies to fit the local context. All procedures were designed to align with both local and international standards for ethical research. No aspects of the research were restricted or prohibited in the local setting.
