: K.C. is supported by a National Health and Medical Research Council Australia Investigator Grant (no. 2042647). She has supported the WHO on global elimination planning and global guidelines for cervical screening. She is co-principal investigator of an investigator-initiated trial of cervical screening, “Compass”, run by the Australian Centre for Prevention of Cervical Cancer (ACPCC), which is a government-funded not-for-profit charity. The trial has received support from the Australian government and the ACPCC has received equipment and a funding contribution from Roche Molecular Diagnostics. She is a lead on an implementation program, EPICC, mentioned in this Comment, which has received support from the Australian government and the Minderoo Foundation and equipment donations from Cepheid and Microbix.
