: The authors, Nisha Hari Singh and Shuoyu Xu were employees of Invitrocue Limited which uses tethered spheroids on PET films as previously published. Hanry Yu is a co-founder of Invitrocue Limited. However, the system reported in this paper uses a different plate-based system. Therefore we do not foresee a non-financial or financial conflict of interest.
