: Koichi Nakayama is the co-founder and shareholder of Cyfuse Biomedical K.K., Tokyo, Japan (Cyfuse). Shizuka Akieda, who are the president of Cyfuse, contributed to the manufacturing of 3D conduits and Cyfuse provided the bioprinter to manufacture the conduit. Cyfuse also provided support in the form of a salary for Shizuka Akieda and provided research grants to Ryosuke Ikeguchi, Tomoki Aoyama, Koichi Nakayama and Shuichi Matsuda. Cyfuse did not have any additional role in the study design, data collection and analysis, decision to publish, or preparation of the manuscript.
