: All sampling of <i>Chenopodium quinoa</i> Willd was meticulously conducted in compliance with both local and international regulations. Prior to the commencement of fieldwork, all necessary authorizations were secured from the relevant agricultural authorities and growers. Reference samples of <i>Chenopodium quinoa</i> Willd were developped and described by Dr. DAO Abdalla. These samples are currently preserved in the germplasm bank of the Institute for Environmental and Agricultural Research (INERA), Farako-Bâ Station. The specimens are accessible to the public for future verification in the National Catalogue of Plant Species and Varieties of Burkina Faso, where they are cataloged under the reference numbers <b>SCHV563</b> for SIMABA and <b>SCHV564</b> for FENI.
