: All procedures carried out during the animal captures, as well as the collecting and handling of samples, were conducted in compliance with Brazilian law (11.794 of July 8, 2008) regarding the use of animals in scientific research, as well as with the guidelines established by the Brazilian Ministry of Health<sup>39</sup>.
