: This study entailed a secondary analysis of data from the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging (KLoSA), which is conducted biannually by the Korean Employment Insurance Fund under the Ministry of Labour. Given that the KLoSA database is publicly accessible for scholarly purposes, additional ethical approval was deemed unnecessary for this study. In the primary research, informed consent was obtained from all participants, and the data were anonymized to maintain confidentiality. Our subsequent analysis was sanctioned by the Institutional Review Board at Yonsei University Hospital (Approval No. 4-2023-0321), which affirmed that the use of these anonymized data in our study adhered to ethical standards and did not necessitate further consent. In the handling, analysis, and dissemination of the data, we meticulously complied with all pertinent ethical guidelines.
