: The organs (testes, epididymides) were collected from bulls slaughtered at the local slaughterhouse under Council Directive 98/58/EC, Council Regulation (EC) No. 1099/2009, Regulation (EU) 2016/1012, Slovak National Council No. 39/2007 and Slovak legislation guidelines (directive 432/2012 Z. z.). The experiments were not performed on live animals, therefore ethical approval is not required.
