: This study used the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care (MIMIC) database, which is a freely accessible critical care database. The use of the MIMIC database is approved by the Institutional Review Boards (IRB) of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). The principal investigator, Wenbo Yu, has completed the necessary ethics training and obtained certification for using the MIMIC database. The database does not contain protected health information, and all patient data are de-identified to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. This study was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee of PLA Marine Corps Hospital, and the requirement for informed consent was waived due to the retrospective nature of the study and the use of anonymized data.
