: Ethical clearance was obtained from the ethical review committee of Wolaita Sodo University College of Medicine & Health Sciences with project number CHSM/ERC/01/14. Support letter was obtained from each hospital’s medical director. The purpose of the study was thoroughly communicated to each study participant in the information sheet of the questionnaire prior to data collection. Participants were asked to provide informed written consent and were told that their participation was entirely voluntary. Furthermore, the privacy, confidentiality, and well-being of respondents who participated in the study were maintained. The data used for this study did not contain any identifying information, guaranteeing the participants’ privacy. All of the information gathered was solely for the purposes of the study. Informed written consent was obtained and eligible participants were included in the qualitative portion of the study and they were asked for their willingness to be recorded during data collection period. The study was performed in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
