: We conducted a single-center, prospective, randomized controlled trial comparing the FARES and Spaso methods for anterior shoulder dislocations. This study was approved by the National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) Research Ethics Committee (REC) (Approval number: 201307037RINC). Informed consent was obtained from all participants or their legal guardians prior to enrollment. All methods were performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and relevant institutional and regulatory guidelines. This trial was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (Registration number: NCT01979237) onĀ 08/11/2013. Data were collected from patients with anterior shoulder dislocations treated in the emergency department between November 2013 and December 2015.
