: The gene doping panel was designed in cooperation with Agena Bioscience and the panel is intended to be commercialized by Agena Bioscience to be at disposal for WADA-accredited doping control laboratories for the purpose of gene doping detection. However, Agena Bioscience did not participate in the evaluation study of the panel and the Cologne Doping Control Laboratory will not profit from any future company’s sales. All the remaining authors declare no conflict of interest.
