The human femoral artery was obtained through the Body Donation Program of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Vic—Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC). Donors had provided informed written consent for the use of their bodies in educational and research activities, including the publication of scientific images, with full anonymity.
