: Once, the ethical clearance (reference number: SOM/521/2024) was obtained from the University of Gondar School of Medicine Ethical Review Board. Then, an official support letter and approval were obtained from the Department of Optometry and HUCSH-ECTC. Each participant’s written informed consent was obtained shortly after a thorough description of the study’s objective, benefits, and risks. At any time during the research process, participants were provided the autonomy to decline participation and leave the study. The study was also conducted in accordance with the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki. To ensure confidentiality, the questionnaires were coded, and the names of respondents were not included in the questionnaires.
