: The sea-buckthorn leaf and fruit samples were collected in accordance with local and national regulations. No specific permissions and licenses were required as samples were collected from public lands and communal areas where such access is legally permitted. In case, where samples were collected from private properties, prior informed consent was obtained from the landowners. The species is not protected under CITES or local conservation laws, and no endangered and threatened species were involved in this study.
