: This study was conducted in accordance with ethical guidelines for computational research involving environmental data. The research protocol was reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board for Data Science Research (Protocol ID: ENV-2023–047). All geographic and environmental data used in this study were obtained from publicly available databases or collected with appropriate permissions from relevant authorities. No personally identifiable information was collected or processed during this research. The study adhered to principles of responsible AI development and environmental data stewardship. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to their involvement in the research activities. For the user study validation involving 47 participants (23 professional environmental designers, 15 rural planning specialists, and 9 community development coordinators), participants were provided with detailed information about the research objectives, data collection procedures, potential risks and benefits, data usage protocols, and their right to withdraw at any time without penalty. For the field deployment case study in Longsheng County, Guangxi Province, informed consent was obtained from community leaders and authorized representatives of the 156 participating households following consultation meetings where the research purpose and procedures were explained in detail. All participants were informed that their data would be anonymized and used solely for research purposes. Consent forms were approved by the Institutional Review Board and are maintained in accordance with institutional data protection policies and local regulations. All data collection activities respected the cultural sensitivities of the rural communities involved.
